het is zover, de zeemeermin is af !ik vind haar geweldig !
ze was erg leuk om te borduren, en ook de kraaltjes vind ik er erg mooi bij.
ik had nog nooit eerder met kraaltjes gewerkt, maar ik vind dat ik het toch niet slecht heb gedaan, al zeg ik het zelf !
ik heb natuurlijk wat dingetjes veranderd, zoals een andere kleur stof ; vintage blauw cashel, blue wishper , 11 draadjes per cm.en ik heb een parelmoer kleurige draad toegevoegd aan de sluier.
de stiksteken bovenaan haar staart zijn niet met het orginele kreinik garen, maar met een groene mataaldraad uit mijn eigen voorraad.

she was a lot of fun to stitch, and the beads fit in really well.
I had never worked with beads before, but I think I did not so bad, if I say so myself !
I did change a few things, I did not use the original fabric, insted I used a fabric called vintage blue cashel, blue wisper, 22 count.
and I added a mother of pearl treath to the vale.
the backstitches on the top of her tale were not done in the original kreinik, but I used a green from my own stash.
toen ik het kleurenvoorbeeld zag had ik niet gedacht dat ze zo mooi zou worden.
een positieve verassing dus !
